I can’t afford any of the clothes or actually anything here for that matter but I always end up buying something to fill a silence with the beautiful boy (but doesn’t he know it – oh bore!) that works here. When we run out of things to say and I can’t think of another compliment to pay him I buy another pair of earrings. They have a to-die-for range of jewelry most of which features skulls in some capacity, plus all kinds of amazing Marjan Pejoski* designer clothes in bright colours and prints (although you’re at a high risk of looking like an extra from Party Monster). I’m being entertained by a pretty ladyboy trying to decide whether to get these boots (see below) or the Vivienne Westwood pirate boots which I tell him no one wears anymore, I don’t know which he went for in the end..

The sister shop to Kokon To Zai in Soho but this one is so much more exciting, marrying together my twin obsessions death and clothes. It’s a menagerie of gorgeous stuff, taxidermy, glass domes, phallic shaped sculptures from A Clockwork Orange, gothic jewellery, weird clothes, beautiful staff, amazing antiques the collection just goes on and on there is so much to look at. Situated on Golbourne road in West London near Notting Hill it’s surrounded by Moroccan and Lebanese cafes, in an area populated with residents that don’t ever seem to work although the type that choose not to I might add therefore possibly the type that can afford anything from this amazing shop. Lord knows how a place like this makes any money, I just got to get home decorating ideas, new ways to display crow skulls and what not.
