Due to the fact that the turnover at Busaba Eathai is so quick, this is where I suggest going when I’ve arranged to meet someone I can’t really be bothered to see, you know those ‘C list’ friends that you’re not quite ready to cull. There is usually a queue but don’t be put off as it moves fast. It is always heaving and you are in a sharing tables situation but the dark wood interior and Thai monastery décor lend well to a great atmosphere. The food here is amazing and lands in front of you within minutes of ordering it. I try to be a little adventurous when eating out but the pad thai here is great and you’d be forgiven for making a boring choice. They don’t serve dessert but one or two of their smoothies do the trick.
